FTP Credentials Storage
All FTP server credentials (usernames and passwords) are stored securely using macOS Keychain, Apple's encrypted credential storage system. This data:
- Remains encrypted on your Mac
- Is never transmitted to our servers
- Is only accessible by the FTP Retriever app on your device
- Can be deleted by removing the app or clearing Keychain entries
Network Activity
FTP Retriever connects to FTP servers only as you explicitly configure. The app:
- Only connects to FTP servers you add to your configurations
- Does not transmit any data to Ronin Group Inc. servers
- Does not communicate with third-party services
- Does not connect to the internet except to validate App Store purchases through Apple's secure servers
File Access
FTP Retriever only accesses:
- FTP servers you explicitly configure
- Local download directories you select via macOS file picker
- Configuration files stored in ~/Library/Application Support/FTPRetriever/
All downloaded files remain on your device. The app does not upload files to any servers other than the FTP servers you configure.
Local Storage
The app stores the following data locally on your Mac:
- Configuration files: Stored in ~/Library/Application Support/FTPRetriever/ (JSON format)
